This patient was attacked by bandits and had his sister kidnapped. He lost his right eye and had multiple fractures. We took him for surgery this morning, the anesthesia machine broke and patient had cardiac arrest on the table. What a tragedy for the poor in this country. 😭

As an ophthalmologist, i cant remember the last time i lost a patient. Yesterday i lost one. A 4 year old with a huge orbital tumor. He died 4 days after successful surgery and was even slated for discharge. This shit hurts like a bitch. Losing a patient hurts..
