Honored to be selected to give a talk as part of this fantastic series, looking forward to sharing some very new data for the first time!
@BaltimoreSfN @UMMedNeuro @HopkinsNeuro @HopkinsKavli Next up: @UMMedNeuro hosts @GarimaS_18 presenting neural coding of #anxiety in the #mPFC and @ZDBrodnik presenting #dopamine and #GABA modulation of threat response behavior. We are opening DM's so contact us if you want to join!

@alfcnz @matplotlib @TDTneuro I am using pyqt5. I am still figuring out how I want the images displayed. Right now I'm just displaying JPGs, but I tried to write in a way where this can be changed easily since I know it's not optimum. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

@astrochunly @matplotlib @TDTneuro I will eventually, but I'm not sure I am ready to share everything just yet. Some of the analysis scripts I am using are updates to the common procedure or are completely novel. I probably want to publish those in some way before giving the general public access.

@HistedLab @TDTneuro The worker then signals a dictionary back to the main thread, and the user can use the display to view the JPGs. There are problems with this, but it's simple and modular so I like it while I'm still working on things.

@HistedLab @TDTneuro I only started coding in March or so of last year, so I am sure there are more efficient ways to do a lot of what I am doing. What I am doing right now is running the analysis in a separate thread that uses mayplotlib, saves the images as JPG.

Excited to finally share this. This was a passion project that had little to do with my thesis work, and is the second half of a wonderful collaboration with @svmahler. My final first author out of the España lab @DrexelMedicine .

@AnnieCholines Honestly, I was prepared for rejection on this one, it was a first submission and a high journal. I'm just confused about the positive reviews.
