If your vetting is rigorous, then we need to find a different vocabulary for what people from the North go through. And just FYI, it’s not just about Somalis ask any Borana, Gabra, Rendile, Samburu, or even Turkana about their struggles. From paying money to officials to getting weird names on their IDs, any complaint lands one on a blacklist!

I think you people don’t have the full picture, and it’s very dangerous when people speak and now tweet out of ignorance. You have no idea the kind of frustration we face in the name of vetting. We have 40+ year olds in Garissa without IDs. I’ll take up the initiative to educate you guys because kuna shida.
