After seeing how drought ravaged communities in Garissa, I came up with the idea of AGRO-PASTORALISM . I convinced the locals to embrace farming alongside livestock rearing. Today, the results speak for themselves: food for families and fodder for animals.🧵👇 Thread

This isn’t Kitale or Kericho! These are rice plantations and mango 🥭 orchards in Balambala, home to some of Kenya’s sweetest mangoes. In Jarjara, over 30 hectares are irrigated by the Tana River, producing tons of rice year-round. Time to rewrite the narrative! #DiscoverGarissa
