Today, we came together to honor the power and importance of care work, recognizing those who dedicate their lives to caring for others. Care work—both paid and unpaid—is the backbone of our communities, yet it’s often undervalued and invisible. Together, we’re calling for fair wages, gender equality in care roles, policy support, and investment in care infrastructure. When we value, support, and share care responsibilities, we build stronger, more inclusive communities for all. Let’s continue to #MakeCareCount. It’s #TimeToCare! #RightToCare

Care isn’t “just women’s work”—it’s a responsibility for all. Breaking down harmful gender norms not only supports families but strengthens entire communities. When men and women share care roles, we build a fairer and more balanced society. This #InternationalDayofCareandSupport, let’s champion gender equality in care work. #TimeToCare #MakeCareCount #RightToCare

Care workers are the heart of our society—nurturing children, supporting the elderly, and providing essential services. Yet, they often face low wages, limited protections, and unsafe conditions. This #InternationalDayofCareandSupport, we stand in solidarity with care workers everywhere. It’s time for fair wages, social protections, and safe conditions. Let’s uplift those who care for us! #TimeToCare #MakeCareCount #RightToCare

Did you know? Women shoulder 76% of the world’s unpaid care work, often sacrificing opportunities for education, paid work, and self-care. This #InternationalDayofCareandSupport, let’s recognize and redistribute care responsibilities for a fairer, more inclusive world. Care work deserves visibility, value, and shared responsibility. It’s #TimeToCare and #MakeCareCount #RightToCare

Strengthening the future of care through powerful linkages! In Nakuru, Mombasa, and Nairobi, our brokering sessions united care workers, employers, KUDHEIHA, private sector partners, and CSOs to create transformative connections within the care economy. From amplifying youth voices and promoting equitable policies in Nakuru, to highlighting collaboration and community impact in Mombasa, and forging strategic partnerships in Nairobi—these sessions underscore the collective power needed to advance gender equality and improve care infrastructure for women and girls in Kenya. Together, we’re redefining care, advocating for equity, and ensuring every voice is heard. Now more than ever, it’s #TimeToCare and #MakeCareCount! @oxfaminKE @GAC_Corporate @kudheiha
