Empower girls by educating communities about the dangers of FGM. Education is the first crucial step toward creating lasting change. By raising awareness, ActionAid Kenya is fostering a deeper understanding of the harmful effects of FGM and works together with various stakeholders to protect the rights and well-being of girls. Through the girls’ and boys’ forums, ActionAid Kenya enables them to learn more about themselves, grow their skills and knowledge and interact with their peers. The forums are inclusive, allowing them to voice their opinions and concerns, stimulating their courage of conviction.
