, I am the Tech Lead of Post / Tweet Recommendation and co-author of SimClusters. We have not removed SimClusters in our candidate retrieval pipelines. It's still one of the most important ML foundations to us.
I think they might have removed the SimCluster algorithm which is a really bad idea. SimCluster is really important for building community
