@JohnRad15 @DaroZepeda1 @PamphletsY Capitalism is just a system that allows enterprises and individuals to finance themselves by borrowing money from other individuals or enterprises. It's not ideology. The underlying ideology is liberalism.

@JohnRad15 @DaroZepeda1 @PamphletsY When talking about capitalism, Guatemala would not be the example that come first to my mind

@raphaelolived @PamphletsY My first comment was a sarcastic remark aiming to criticize the lack of individual rights and freedom in socialist countries. It makes no sense if you try to take literally

@DaroZepeda1 @PamphletsY The wall in the US is not to prevent people from escaping.. And China is a dystopic hell where the regime is crushing the individual rights. Thank you for proving my point. And you are criticizing the US government because it abuses its power. It's not capitalism's fault

@DaroZepeda1 @PamphletsY The answer is freedom. You can't force people to build homes. Socialist regimes can because they own everything, the land, the materials, the people. But socialist regimes also needs to build walls to prevent people from escaping. Choose your poison

@DaroZepeda1 @PamphletsY As my other message, it was not to be taken litteraly. However, the richest countries on earth are capitalistic and liberal (to a certain extent) while socialism proved to be a complete failure everywhere it has been tried. I let you draw your own conclusions

@DaroZepeda1 @PamphletsY And my first comment was sarcastic. It was a critic of the lack of individual rights and freedom that is characteristic of socialism regimes. Not meant to be taken litteraly

@PamphletsY On the contrary, socialism is an ideology that requires building walls to prevent people from escaping the hell it produces.
