Given the recent news of the old Twitter for Mac app being bricked + unlisted from the Mac App Store, I suggest waiting before jumping onto the iPad version of X on macOS. I have received confirmations that it is definitely suspending users right now.

This, along with the reduced IO performance around RS1 really shows how bad Windows 10 has gotten in terms of performance, especially on hard drives. Windows 10 RTM performed very close to Windows 8.1, now it's not even close. Windows 10 is only comfortably usable on an SSD.
How well does GDI behave across different versions of Windows 10? Take a look at this video. Test: restoring a windows forms window with 9900 controls (handles) => repainting speed.

@nicolas09F9 The model might be overkill, but at least they didn’t specifically engineer some overkill solution for displaying the shadow. It’s very likely using some CoreGraphics or similar API to display the object, which is already capable of drawing shadows, blurs, etc. Apple creates.

The Dynamic Island is finally smoother again in iOS 17.2 Beta 3!.The weird slide-in animation is gone and the bouncing has been tweaked. Still not as good as it was in iOS 16, but it no longer looks glitchy.

The changelog for macOS 15.1 Beta specifically omits the EU, while it is included in the iOS changelog. Apple Intelligence is very likely to be limited in the EU only on iOS/iPadOS, as those two platforms have been declared as "gatekeepers" by the EU DMA regulations. macOS has.

When a device is spoofed, it shows up as that model in iCloud settings. Notice how on this screenshot, it maintains that it's a 14 Pro Max, yet the (arguably) "new" Siri still works. No feature flags are active at this point, only:.- the device model capability (one MG key) .-
