This is what @cowpoke_u and I have been saying. The Big 12 needs a heel after OUT. Embrace that role. Low key, think it would be cool if KSU could have that heel persona. But I think it’s hard to push that across a conference. From day 1 it was set up for UU to come in as.
It’s crazy to go from the darlings of the Pac-12 to the villains of the Big 12. Someone has to fill the void with Texas and Oklahoma leaving, I guess. Probably best to just embrace it.

I’m gonna agree with Jon on this one. After the announcement of Utah coming to Big 12; I was inundated (in a good way) with hundreds of Utahs faithful. They are a loyal bunch. As is BYU. It’s oil and water. The trolls troll, just like any other fanbase. No different.
I know I'm going to get a lot of flak for this, but I think we've let BYU fans influence the intense dislike towards Utah a bit too much. It's kind of burning me out.

Kansas State is and has been the kind of blue collar program we talk about but rarely exemplify. They never recruit well by conventional standards, but always have tough, disciplined players who work hard and win. Probably the best example of doing more with less than anyone in.
