@fesshole Huge point - name is a person's single most identifying item. Spell it right once you know it, call people by their prefered name once you know it, Pronounce it right as soon as you've heard it correctly. Not difficult, and incredibly important in valuing another person.

@SCScanlan @kirawontmiss Not discounting, or at least, not trying to. Typically comes with some severance too, right? I'm just in some middle ground. My company has generally treated me fairly. I'll give them notice if I leave.

@InternetH0F Well, they're using your donation to get a tax writeoff when they donate it. Just donate it yourself, IF you want to. Pick your own charity.

@KirtonMcBonky I always called stake conference "bye week". I was always preparing for my apostate future, I guess.

@Jimmy_PrimeTime @machination3e @elonmusk Anyone who thinks teachers are the primary source of the education problem in our country are just absolutely blind fools. It's kicking uphill against a wide set of opponents all day.

@SCScanlan @kirawontmiss I'm only speaking to if you're treated reasonably well. Here's the thing for me - why are most people fired? Horrible behavior, not showing up to work, that sort of thing. Frankly, you deserve it then. Likewise, if the company treats you poorly, they deserve what they get.

@machination3e @elonmusk Sorry dumbass, anyone selling anything that doesn't put parents at the CORE of a child's upbringing and education is the definition of IDIOT! Enjoy yourself.

@machination3e @elonmusk Also, irrelevant. Best indicator of student success is, always has been, and always will be the quality and involvement of their parents. Who has more one-on-one time with the kid? Have to divide the teacher time by the number of kids in the class too.

@machination3e @elonmusk You're targeting the wrong source of the issue. Parents refusing to hold their kids accountable, unproven programs thrust on teachers, poor administrative policies are much more to blame. Parents are the biggest issue - they don't participate or parent anymore.

@elonmusk I want us to be careful who we villify for stuff. Most teachers are humble people, dragged all over by bad policy, horrible parenting behavior and bad leadership. I don't understand why we treat them like we do. Missing the mark.

@KirtonMcBonky @skibumm2024 @sltrib This is why I no longer ever round up at any store or restaurant. This is exactly what they do. Initially it was only certain ones I wouldn't because the charity was one I don't trust (some of these may be suprising honestly). Now I always say no

@KirtonMcBonky @skibumm2024 @sltrib How about those giant red giving things? That count in their "giving" too?

@MomsPostingLs Shell also remember the bad she did for you as actually being good, for some twisted reason.

@KirtonMcBonky Not an accident. Cuz, their money is used to build great and spacious buildings.
