Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols is a masterpiece for treble voices and harp, split into twelve movements that celebrate Christmas. Using medieval and traditional carol melodies, Britten combines intricate harmonies with vivid, expressive textures, evoking joy and mystery.
