Young singers from Leeds Cathedral Choirs were joined by members of the Sixteen and Genesis Sixteen on Sunday to sing movements from Duruflé’s Requiem, Mozart's Spatzenmesse and Anerio's Magnificat 🎶 They had been working together throughout the weekend in a series of intense workshops, led by Tom Leech, the Director of the Schools Singing Programme and Eamonn Dougan, The Sixteen’s Associate Conductor, and others from the Diocese of Leeds Schools Singing Programme 🤝 We're proud to be supporting the choir in 2024/25, and have also awarded the cathedral several grants over the past few years, supporting a range of areas including chorister outreach, core costs, chorister vocal development and choral and organ scholarships 🙏

Welcome to the @BarnsleyChoir Flatcap family, @Mobbsca! Our @TheSixteen and #GenesisSixteen alum members had such a wonderufl time working with @MatWrightMBE and the BYCs back in May - such a talented, high-spirited, inspiring bunch! And we all walked away with flatcaps too! 🥰
