@lukeming @FineGael @EndaKennyTD What you say is true, I'm not denying it. It's also true that Naugten was a pseudo-independent & had the backing of the huge legacy FG vote in the the county. There's no denying that either. He was even appointed as minister by FG in 2016. You just need to be honest about it.

@lukeming @FineGael @EndaKennyTD I also want to say that I agree 100% with you that closing the A&E in Roscommon hospital was a complete disgrace, and I'd never say otherwise..

@Saorlaith32 @lukeming @FineGael @ClaireKerrane Roscommon FG candidate Aisling Dolan was the last excluded in the 2024 election, so FG haven't gone away. Also, Denis Naughten topped the poll in 2020, but retired in 2024. His brother John (rip) was to run for FG & was strongly tipped to take that seat. Ming knows all this.

@justdave89now In Ireland, Prof. Sam McConkey from RCSI, who was widely promoted by the media, predicted 1.8m COVID cases & 120k deaths. Guess what. That never happened either. The hysteria was ridiculous & the treatment of those who were reluctant to take vaccines was a disgrace. Get real.

@lukeming Roscommon must have one of the worst vacant rates in Ireland. Just look at Ballaghaderreen, Boyle, Elphin, Strokestown & your own local town of Castlerea. Huge vacancy problems in them & other towns, yet you have never done anything about it in all your years as a "politician"

@ExCllrRedmond @FineGael @AlanFarrell @NoelRock On the other hand, @fiannafailparty show their unquestionable electoral motivations with their selections of political heavyweights Alison Comyn and Joe Flaherty..

@eoinyk That's all a bit ridiculous Eoin. There's no evidence to show that the catholic church was responsible for, or had any real control over poverty, emigration or the other socio-economic issues common in Ireland at that time. Using coincidence to prove your point is disgraceful.

@BillyORiordan @NewstalkFM Oil is the main source of heating for 50% of households on average nationally, 63% in the Connacht/Ulster region according to Census 2022. This compares to <10% on average who rely on electricity for their main source of heating in the same area. Your claim is 100% false..

@paulmccabeusa @rtenews An almost identical bottle return scheme has operated successfully in Germany since 2002, so the idea of plastic bottle returns isn't even original or unique to Ireland.. It looks like you being an uninformed tourist is the issue here, not the return scheme..

@FPLogueLaw just after hearing your contribution on the new Planning Act on @RTENewsAtOne. The changes to the Judicial Review process and the calculation & awarding of costs put access to justice beyond the reach of all individuals & most groups. Surely this will be challenged?

@pondsntrees Unfortunately, even if the government agreed to provide this (which they never would understand any circumstances) a small wind turbine, 2 solar PV panels and a battery would struggle to meet the electricity demand for most modern houses for any period of time.
