@BizNasty2point0 We now see how future Jack Adams winner Paul Tortssonnette will be motivating his players

@SuitableAlias They do not use him on PK...and have the 2nd worst PK in the league. Something doesn't add up with this guy.

@TheFlyersZone There is something odd with Dobson's deployment. The Isles have the 2nd worst PK yet Dobson only plays :39 SH/TOI per game.

@JFreshHockey Dobson gets :39 SH/ TOI per game. They are 12th in GAA yet have the 2nd worse PK. Deployment might be an issue with Dobson to be considered a #1. Ice time is everything.

@RonoAnalyst You're PK chart above made me look...which is a crazy...the Isles as a team are 12th overall in GAA yet have the 2nd worse PK...and Dobson only averages :39 SH TOI/G. Haven't watched a lot of Isles games, but deployment might be an issue...if he has PK abilities, he's a true #1.

@RonoAnalyst Miles better? Maybe on the other side of the red line, but was playing under a different coach. What should not be discounted is the development trajectory of 40 games a year in NCAA vs. straight from Juniors into an 80 game season in the NHL. I hope he pans out.

@RonoAnalyst Agreed...and if the Flyers were to offer the RFAs the compensation is steep. Flyers have all the picks this year, but the quality RFA Cs are in 2026.

@charlieo_conn The curiosity that was not covered was how they got him to waive his NTC and agree to go to the Flyers.

@BroadStBull What this trade tells us is that no one wanted to deal with Briere, that Torts diminished both Frost and Farabee's value, and that Flyer fans are indirectly being told to "trust the process" = picks and cap space gamble is more important than today's team.

@NHLFlyers We've seen this movie before...trust the process, asset optionality...cap space more important than current team, yet raise prices? Don't forget that Farabee and Frost were 1st round picks in return from a previous trade. What this trade tells us is that Torts has ruined value.
