Oh, viewpoint discrimination? Gosh guys, somebody should DO something
Punishing journalists for not adopting state-mandated terminology is an alarming attack on press freedom. That's viewpoint discrimination, and it's unconstitutional. President Trump has the authority to change how the U.S. government refers to the Gulf. But he cannot punish a news organization for using another term. The role of our free press is to hold those in power accountable, not to act as their mouthpiece. Any government efforts to erode this fundamental freedom deserve condemnation.

I know a lot of people like this. Religious extremism translates very well to a certain kind of apocalyptic rationalism. No savings. No investment in material goods. No hope for a better end than a state nursing home.
It's really an enormity of grief to process. I live my life as though the planet has a few more years left to live - e.g. i've stopped saving for retirement.

Farritor's just pointed at this mess like an autistic arrow
Federal employee retirements are processed using paper, by hand, in an old limestone mine in Pennsylvania. 700+ mine workers operate 230 feet underground to process ~10,000 applications per month, which are stored in manila envelopes and cardboard boxes. The retirement process takes multiple months.
