Special moment today as we welcomed William Haworth back to playing Grassroots football after 2 years of ongoing treatment.
Deserved guard of honour to celebrate the occasion, William was diagnosed with metastatic medulloblastoma (type of malignant brain tumour).
The club has learned that goalkeeper Ethan Gannon has gone into hospital and been placed in an induced coma. A lumbar puncture was taken to test for meningitis but his illness is as yet undiagnosed.
@PaulHalsey1
will be kept abreast of developments. Meanwhile we wish Ethan well.
Congratulations to Chris Arthur on the birth of his son, born weighing 8 lbs 2 oz, the young man hasn't been given a name yet. The excitement of becoming a father for the first time didn't stop Chris playing in the win at Harlow on Saturday giving him 2 reasons to celebrate.

REMEMBERING SEAN MYNOTT
Today marks one year since the passing of former secretary Sean.
Thoughts with all of Sean’s friends and family today and always from everyone at Ware FC.
The players marking the sad loss of Dave Farenden and Gordon Boateng with a minutes silence just before kick off yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families. RIP 🙏
Still can’t quite believe I’m writing this, but last week I was diagnosed with throat cancer. My treatment begins on Monday, I’m in good hands, and the doctors are optimistic about a full recovery.
I’m strong and won’t let this beat me.
I appreciate all the love!
