When I was a kid, my Dad and I took a LOT of road trips. All over the country. I’d usually knock out 💤 before we even got on the freeway and wake up somewhere in the middle of the desert, bleary eyed. I cherish these trips, brings back lots of great memories.

We left Hawaii in 2017 because we knew we might never be able to afford a home to own and have our kids grow up in. Food and gas were high but not a huge factor. Returning 7 years later, I am baffled any family can afford to live here - but the population has exploded!.

2025 Central Phenix City QB @aalford1024 is one of the best quarterbacks in the nation! He just capped off his season with these insane stats and a 7A state championship but doesn't have a single offer is absolutely insane to think about.

A generation of trying to scrub out God from our schools has led to a generation of kids growing up thinking they are just a random mass of cells with no eternal soul. Is it any wonder they don’t cherish life? God loves each of us! Kudos to GHS!.
Gardendale High School’s home opener began with a student saying a prayer over the PA system. Fans stood in prayer as well. This comes after the organization Freedom From Religion asked there not be prayer at school sporting events. JefCo BOE supports having the right to pray.

Near Death Valley lies the company mining town of Trona. My Dad graduated here in 1950. Their football team plays on an “all sand” field - not a blade of grass. The team routinely sifts the field for rocks to toss over the fence. Wish Trent’s Grampa could see where he plays now!
