Well done to Jo our Armed Forces Navigator for helping to bring this initiative to life based on a Veterans own experience of care @WWLNHS Over 22,000 Armed Forces & Veterans live in our Wigan borough, our blankets demonstrate Care and Compassion at a time of sadness #onechance
🇬🇧 WWL’s Armed Forces and Patient Experience Teams have purchased blankets to give comfort to Veterans in their final hours. The blankets will remain with the Veteran and can be laid to rest with them or given to their family to remember their loved one 🫶 (1/2)👇
