See it way to often! Role definition is critical to success.
My HS coach established a pecking order the very first day of practice. He told everybody what their role was on the team and he told everybody what color their light was to shoot. We all stood on the wall and he literally went down the line and said GREEN LIGHT, Yellow Light or Red Light 🚦 Coach didn’t do that to embarrass players. He wanted CLEAR UNDERSTANDING in front of the team so there’s no misunderstanding and EXCUSES during real games. Pecking Order is lost in grassroots basketball now. Everybody wanna jack up shots like the star player now
