Some showers into midweek but any more of a shift east with this front, means less rain. So main rounds will be Wednesday & Thursday AM, not fully widespread. If this front moves southeast, that means less rain.

If you have the itch to plant, you gotta hold off. Only cold hardy plants right now Typically for the Valley, it's after Mother's Day (mid May) for anything sensitive. For WV it's around the 20th-25th. Even if the store has the plants out, it's not time to put in the ground yet

If you see a firefighter, thank them. It's been a rough week for them. All fire updates will be on as they continue to work toward full containment.

Now that things have calmed a bit, I want to genuinely thank EVERYONE who had any part in fighting the fires. From FF, to police, volunteers, Forestry, EMs, first responders, everyone. We have no deaths to report, & that's amazing.

THIS WEEK: While we will have some rain, it's more limited. Highest amounts would be east of Rt. 340 & Blue Ridge. Yes wind returns end of the week, the only day I'm looking at with any remote potential of elevated fire risk is Friday, but depends on how much rain we get

Last year, Grandma Urbanowicz turned 100 on March 27. Right now, she's not doing well at all and the family is trying to keep her comfortable. She will be 101 on Wednesday
