Up until 1973 it WAS left up to the states. You act like this was a constitutional right since 1788 but it was not. We were always supposed to be a collection of 50 different countries united under one federal government. The federal govt has been slowly taking away state's rights and personal liberties before the ink of the constitution was even dry.

They cited numerous cases and stuck to the spirit of the constitution as it was describing the executive branch. It offers Trump no protection for things not office related.

Who is it hard for to vote? Middle class? Nope. The underprivileged? Don’t they get benefits of some kind? WIC, food stamps, SS, welfare, housing…. If you can sign up for support from the government, you can sign up to vote for the government.

Gender and sexuality are two different things but very tightly intertwined. And they/ze/xe/ver….aren’t genders. So I can support gay and trans rights, love my gay family members, had a friend (who passed) that had dysphoria that was amazing, but if I hold the opinion that made up pronouns are silly that makes me a transphobe?
