I'm very confused. The Bears offensive coaches saw the game plan wasn't working and made an in-game adjustment? Is that even legal? Asking for Matt Nagy.

It’s hard to imagine that the Bears not being picked for Hard Knocks this year. First pick, massive free agency, Justin Fields, big market team… Slam dunk.

Dear Chicago Bears Beat Writers: During the early negotiations period, teams CANNOT send a full medical staff out to everybody they are negotiating with. Once free agency actually starts, they do physicals to make sure the players are healthy. This isn't a failing of a GM.

Mitchell Trubisky, last 5 games, offensively: 1683 yards, 15 TD's, 5 turnovers. That averages out to 336.6 yards, 3 TD's and 1 turnover per game. I gotta be honest, fans & media who are saying Mitch sucks are not very good at this whole "knowing anything about football" thing.

According to Over The Cap, the Chicago Bears currently have $30,713,289 in effective cap space (after the rookies have signed). Basically, Ryan Poles still has $15-20M left to work with to fill holes with FA's & cuts. Chicago also sits first on the waiver wire claims list.

The Chicago Bears don't need to trade up for a QB this year in the draft, they need to TRADE DOWN and start filling this team up with draft picks on the OL, CB, WR, etc. The only way out of this mess is to get younger. Trading up is what has caused part of this problem.

In 2023, the Chicago Bears have $35M in "Ryan Pace Dead Money". Before cutting Cody Whitehair, in 2024 Chicago will have $859,071 in dead money. I get the Ryan Poles haters, but whatever else you say about the man he fixed a franchise-crushing problem with the bad Pace contracts.

Cody Whitehair was a beast in drills, and James Daniel is really quick. I know NFL OT’s are big dudes but seeing Leno & Massie together... that’s a whole lot of manpower... #BearsCamp #Bears

What do I think of Matt Nagy's shutting the Bears starters down until the regular season? I remember Cam Meredith's 3rd preseason game last year. I'm good with the choice.

The thing about Chicago's win over Green Bay not getting much attention in the national media? Not one single Bears starter was 30 years old except Sherrick McManis who is filling in for Bryce Callahan. Every major Bears skill-position player is 27 years old or younger.

The Green Bay Packers tried to sign Kyle Fuller & Vic Fangio and Allan Robinson in the offseason... and to trade for Khalil Mack. Ryan Pace got the job done. Can you imagine the difference this year if Green Bay had Fangio, Fuller, Robinson & Mack and we didn't?

I honestly don't have any idea how Mitch completes a single pass with this in his face. #BearsCamp fan photo by me last week.

Note to Ryan Pace: You have your QB. You have your HC. You have 7 draft picks, you have a boatload of FA money. We need PLAYMAKERS not Mike Glennon, Markus Wheaton, Marcus Cooper type players. Just a friendly FYI.
