Let's get this straight. So the coaches call Eno on Saturday night at hotel to tell him his role will be diminished vs. Rams because James Conner will get the bulk. Eno gets pissed and Keim cuts him? You WANT guys to get pissed about less playing time.
#RCforGM
The Rams have used more sprint-outs, bootlegs and waggles in this half of football with 34 year old Matthew Stafford than the Cardinals have in an entire season with 24 year old. 4.3 speedster Kyler Murray.
Yet another Keim position gaffe. Josh was tried at RT, was miscast as a G, and finally in yr 3 he is clicking at LT which has always been "home" for him. How much longer can this continue w Steve Keim? FYI, it's year 3 with Isaiah and they're still trying to find his "home."
Cardinals have had 4 possessions with a $47M a year QB and a HC on 5 year extension and not one pass has been thrown more than 5 yards. Ricky dink, sandlot, scared--ass football. 4th and inches with James Conner, absurd call for jet sweep. Total rip-off of fans.
CB Max Melton is a classic Belichick pick from Rutgers pipeline. Dude has all the tools to play press man and combo zones. Former WR with 4.39 speed and A+ ball skills. In D-Rob and Max Cardinals tapping 2 of the most radiant stars at Senior Bowl. My comp: Christian Gonzalez🦆

Michael Bidwill's, Steve Keim's, Vance Joseph's and Billy Davis' mishandling of Haason Reddick is one of the most egregious organizational gaffes in NFL history. This regular season, Haason had more sacks (16) than all of 🐦🏈edge rushers plus Chandler Jones (LV) combined (14).

In what universe is one player showing a trace of a banned PED on a 6 game suspension par with another player being sued by 24 masseuses for sexual misconduct with regard to the NFL Personal Conduct policy? This is utterly and completely outrageous.
Isaiah Adams (6-5, 315) is tailor made to play mauler G in the Cardinals wide zone blocking scheme. He excels in zone blocking. He's also played T but he's a natural G in the NFL. Was Jim Nagy's offensive sleeper at Senior Bowl. Nagy had Michael Wilson last year as his sleeper.
The man who reversed the script the most is K1 himself. Last yr he showed 100% commitment to being a leader. The way he rehabbed was tenacious and courageous. He's become humble and hungry. The way he played, esp. the last 2 games, was inspiring. K1 did this himself. Credit him.
“All the jokes have been made, all the memes, everything. I think we’re past that. Now it’s pretty lame to make fun of Kyler Murray.
“I root for those type of people that have been beaten down. I’m ready for the Kyler Murray comeback season.”

new TE Trey McBride has a family situation different from most other draftees: he was raised by a same sex couple in Fort Morgan, a small town in Colorado. Kate and Jen helped propel him to become the top TE in the

@mcbtrey
Zach, I will never forget how you hopped on 1st plane to AZ when you were traded, when you could have taken a few days. You gave 🐦🏈 all you had and with Maxx Williams and Trey McBride helped to create a TE renaissance in Arizona. Best wishes and utmost respect to you and Julie.
Booing Kyler as he's trying to support Arizona sports is asinine. Instead, encourage the young QB to bounce back, to keep investing deeper into the AZ community and to leave no doubt that he's ready to evolve and lead 🐦🏈 to new heights.
I wanted C Corey Linsley more than any other UFA. But not for what it took to sign him: 5 years/$65M. That's risky for an 9th year offensive lineman who turns 30 in 6 months. Not going to blame Steve Keim or Cardinals for this. I'm happy that they made the effort.
Hip Hip Hooray for the clean 3-0 road sweep of the NFC West by 🐦🏈, all three victories by double digits while becoming the first Cardinals team to start 6-0 on the road since 1948.
Frankly some mistakes Kyler made today were reminiscent of his and offense's struggles last yr. However, what you see/hear from Kyler in this post-game presser is about as mature and introspective as your'e going to get from a QB. 180 degrees from last yr. The QB is owning it.

Cards T Josh Jones---93.6 PFF grade (only gave up 1 sack in 2019), was 4th highest tackle grade PFF has ever calculated. Played in Air Raid system and is good insurance at LT for DJ Humphries---could compete to start at RT.
NFL safeties --- number of tackles over the past 5 years:
* 382 --- Budda Baker, ARI🐦🏈
* 339 --- Jesse Bates, CIN/ATL
* 338 --- Kevin Byard, TEN/PHI
* 334 --- Jordan Poyer, BUF
* 325 --- Harrison Smith, MIN
Budda is 7th highest tackler of all NFL players over this span.
Kudos to MODS (Monti and Dave) for executing their 2024 Draft plan to a tee. Props to them for having the conviction to ignore pundits' rankings and trust their own evals. Common traits: speed, phys/ment toughness, team-first work ethic, A+ energy. MO cooked🔥 and 💯educated us.
Deshaun Watson should have been suspended for 1 year, fined a year's salary of $46M and required to apply for re-instatement providing clear proof of his commitment to counseling, his attendance at sexual abuse classes, offering a mea culpa and a sincere apology to the victims.
OMG, as a BC🦅 alum I am elated to see the Cards draft CB Elijah Jones. Every one of his 5 interceptions this year were game changers. At 6-2, 185, runs a 4.4 with a 42" vertical. 90.2 man coverage grade this yr w a passer rating of 18.1 (not a typo) Another 🐦 Senior Bowl gem.
Kyler is very thankful of the Oakland A's as he should be. They gave him the green light to play QB at Oklahoma while under contract with them. They were even gracious about losing Kyler to NFL. Wearing an A's hat is a classy, heart-felt gesture of appreciation. Simply that.
Splendid🐦🏈 signing of Zach Ertz, finally making TE a priority. With Ertz making $10+M a year, it's very likely the Cardinals will sign an affordable WR and add another in the NFL Draft. Just a hunch, RB Chase Edmonds is on deck for 3/$16M.
Zaven Collins 6-4, 265, is a throwback LB who plays downhill to ball and knocks snot out of RBs. What makes him special is he's surprisingly natural/instinctive in coverage, plus he's a fierce pass rusher. I think MIKE is his best spot, but might start at SAM.🐦🏈
Just saw a tweet from a Cards fan saying it was an ugly win. Cards dominated in all 3 phases over a team that had won 4 in row, coming off their superb 17-12 win at SEA. If today's game was ugly...I would marry that kind of ugly and live happily ever after.
Imagine if ARI benched Kyler Murray for struggling in his 1st half of NFL football and we 🐦🏈fans rarely saw him play rest of his rookie yr. He wouldn't have won ROY. We have every right as fans to feel angrily deprived about not seeing same commitment to Simmons and Collins.
Cards got
#1
MIKE LB in draft in Zaven Collins. LA, SEA, SF all love to run the ball and play action. W/ tandem of Simmons/Collins the Cards now have the ability to stuff and cover, with size, amazing length and speed. Championship teams are built from inside out. 🐦🏈
As painfully awful as the Cardinals' first 6 quarters of the season have been, the 🐦🏈 stunning 2nd half rally and the OT fantastic finish were the kind of no-quit magic that teams dream of.
Can 🐦🏈 fans get something straight? Our 10-5 team didn't back into the playoffs, our team's 10 wins qualified them today with 2 games left in the season. There is NOTHING shameful about that.
ESPN's Mina Kimes, who is an avid Seahawks fan, confirmed what I and other fans have been claiming for quite some time --- "it didn't look like the Cardinals were prepared at all to attack our defense, like on play action passes where it's been worst in the NFL all year."
Kudos to J.J. Watt , Michael Dogbe, Rashard Lawrence Leki F. and all of the 🐦🏈players who opted to attend OTAs and be the bell cows. You are the hope of a franchise that has never won a Super Bowl.
One thing clear about Kliff? He was never a legit HC. He had NO say on staff. VJ was HC of D. J. Rodgers HC of STs. If anyone was HC, it was S. Keim. It's a freaking miracle what Kliff was able to accomplish w no FO/staff allies in the building. But he outworked everybody.
Monti Ossenfort was scouting for the Patriots during their heydays. Joined Mike Vrable as Titans' DOPP. The plan he presented to Michael Bidwill must have been a home run. It would be so great if 🐦🏈gets their HC signed to get early jump on best possible staff. Exciting change!
The
#AZCardinals
plan to hire
#Titans
Director of Player Personnel Monti Ossenfort as their new GM, sources tell me and
@TomPelissero
. He impressed last year during the circuit, now lands a big job.
Malik Nabers is 6-0, 195. Justin Jefferson is 6-1, 195. Both are speedy, super-quick separators, w 37"+ verticals for 50/50 balls. The name of the game at WR in NFL is separation, not size. If MHJ is off the board, Malik Nabers would be a 🐦🏈A+, Justin Jefferson type of pick.
@RaisingZona
FYI --- the Patriots were planning to take LB Zaven Collins at
#15
had Mac Jones been taken previously. The tape on Collins was outstanding and the tape doesn't lie. Cards DC has history of not playing rookie LBs. That's the problem, not the pick.
Did you just hear Mel Kiper raving about the Cardinals' 6th round pick WR Tejahn Palmer (6-2, 210, 4.45) from Alabama Birmingham? Here have a look for yourself:
@updatecardinals
@WBJMItch
Imagine that, J.J. Watt, an 11 yr. vet and Walter Payton Award winner, knows how to embrace a new culture better than Kyler Murray a 3rd yr. OROY and Pro Bowl QB who is treated as a persona non grata by so many Cardinals' fans and media. Yeah, real funny, isn't it?
In the past, Kyler would dwell on mistakes like missing Hollywood deep and throwing the pick. This week he kept his head up. This week he was a finisher. After the game, K1 had the maturity to tell the team how he could have played better, assuring them this was a 🐦🏈team win.
Talk about 🐦🏈getting alignment from GM to coaching staff, G/C Jon Gaines II is a super fit in Drew Petzing's and OLC Klayton Adams new zone blocking scheme because of his feet and his ability to pull, trap and iso block on the move. ARI finally gitting-it!
If 🐦🏈 ever needed a change at GM, w/ late season meltdown last year, the pathetic off-season and carry-over into the season, it is now. The lack of leadership at GM has led to chaotic football and PR nightmares. W/o a new GM, there is no hope for 2023. More on Red Rain tmrw.
One of the great joys of watching 🐦🏈show up big-time in PHI today was seeing Paris Johnson Jr. render Haason Reddick ineffective off the edge. Big step in the right direction.
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor on Joseph Ossai:
"Joseph comes to work every day, man. He loves ball. He loves being part of this team. It didn't come down to that play."
Keyshawn J ESPN keeps saying Kliff K sold 🐦🏈on running Air Raid. No. K2 was hired foremost to develop K1. K2 runs balanced NFL type RPO style of O. K1 as OROY yr. 1, Pro Bowler yr. 2, is on the Wilson/Watson/Allen track and they went to playoff caliber teams as rooks. Truth.
Steve Keim is an utter buffoon of a GM. Said this years ago, 🐦🏈will never win anything of distinction, let alone a Super Bowl with him as GM. Even worse than being a buffoon is he is a consummate prick. Just as former players.
While I am praying big-time for Marquise Brown to be back asap, the quartet of DeAndre Hopkins, Rondale Moore, Greg Dortch and Robbie Anderson is dynamic. Imagine all 5 of them on the field at some point!
@CardinalsElite
Kliff: (1) one of top QB developers on planet; (2) has his players' backs, puts onus on his own; (3) has guts and confidence to go for it on 4th downs; (4) has respect of his coaches and players; (5) loves innovation, always expanding; (6) classy, respectful and open-minded.🐦🏈
Brian Flores was the first HC to come up with a plan to slow Kyler down. It was ingenious. Pete Carroll and Bill Belichick followed it weeks later. Flores would be so great with Kyler and so great with the 🐦🏈defense. His game planning is absolutely outstanding. Ask Sean McVay.
Jonah Williams, 26 is, the type of physical, hard-nosed tackle that Klayton Adams covets. His best football is ahead of him with 🐦🏈. Best season was at LT 74.5 in 2021. My guess JW was assured LT opp PJJ at RT. Only top 100 UFA signing for Cards thus far.

into the 20s . K2, K1, DHop, Chase, Kugs and his dawgs must be over the moon right now. May be best Cards' OL since 1970s.
@LRiddickESPN
Unfair to lump Kingsbury in w Meyer and Hackett. Taking woeful Cardinals to the playoffs in 3 yrs, winning 11 games in 2021 (tied for 2nd all-time in 🐦🏈120 yr history) and setting franchise 120 yr record with 8 road wins in 2021 shouldn't qualify him as a "spectacular failure."
I want a new 🐦🏈HC who will sit down with Kyler and ask how much he wants to play in AZ or whether he would prefer to play for another team. if Kyler says yes to AZ or yes trade me, I want a HC who can ask him how they can work together to make it happen. One way, or the other.
The Miracle of Glendale, comes to Glendale! Hooray for the Cardinals and CB Malcolm Butler! 1 year deal worth up to $6M. What a sigh of freaking relief! We just got a whole lot stronger, tougher and harder to beat, Cardinals' fans! 🐦🏈
You know, while we are talking about Kyler Murray, Vance Joseph said a very telling thing this week. He said, paraphrasing, that for the kind of off-season the team had, to expect a smooth transition into the regular season was unrealistic. Who set the tone? Who didn't show up?
This the precise footwork, snap release and timing that makes Kyler Murray special. Look at how his front foot points directly to the throw. Syncing the timing up with all his WRs, TEs and RBs could make Kyler elite. Great head start with A.J. Green!
Tip Reiman ran a 4.6 at 6-5 271 at the Combine. Think about that. Had the
#1
athleticism score for TEs in Indy at 87. He will be TE Ben Steele's pet project to develop his blocking and receiving skills as a Y in-line TE. Reiman could be a superb fit in Drew Petzing's offense.
Lou Anarumo has shown, under the brightest of lights, he can make the kind of key defensive adjustments on the road vs. heavily favored teams like KC and BUF; the kind of adjustments that have stifled Patrick Mahomes (3 times) and Josh Allen. Please, 🐦🏈 hand this guy the keys.
From the Flight Plan trailer ---> Monti resisted a trade to move up from

for DE Darius Robinson that would have incl. Cards'

pick. But MO stayed, got Dee-Rob at
#27
and S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson aka "The Rabbit" at
#104
. With CB Max Melton at
#41
, MO hit the d-trifecta.
Mack Wilson is a MIKE ILB! Could this mean Kyzir White shifts to WILB where he had best season in PHI? Wilson was backup to MLB Ja'Whan Bentley, but got 305 snaps mostly at MILB, but some at OLB. 30 tackles (23 solo), 3.5 sacks and 2 FF. 80.8 OV, 71.7 RDEF, 86.9 COV. Bama kid!
What the Cardinals WR group should be:
* WR1-M. Harrison, Jr.
* WR2-M. Wilson
* WR3-G. Dortch
* WR4 - C. Moore
* WR5 -T. Palmer
* PS- X. Weaver, D. Arias
Breakthroughs: Kyler showed he and Cards O can win from the pocket; Cards D showed they can close late in 4th quarter and did, twice; gutsy Cards STs showed that "special" is back. Eagles a different team with J-Hurts. Big, clutch win in all 3 phases like at MetLife.
My guess re: S Chris Banjo. He's injured, but the Cardinals don't want to keep him now, then lose him for 3 games on the IR. So, they cut him now, and re-sign him in two weeks when he's ready to return. Cards love Banjo.🐦🏈
The 🐦🏈needed a big splash to bring excitement and renewed hope back to Arizona and reuniting Kyler Murray with Hollywood Brown is like Hail Murray Part 2. Credit Steve Keim, Kliff Kingsbury and Kyler for working together to make it happen.⭐️
Cardinals win this NFC West 17-10 slobberknocker thanks in large measure to Jesus, Murray and Joseph, with major props to 🐦🏈Budda-ism, Hip-Hop, the prophet Isaiah and J.J. S.W.A.T.T.
@JohnnyVenerable
@PHNX_Cardinals
Man, in 20 min, you, JTD, and Bo did more to show the genuine side of JG than we ever see in pressers. JG's heart in the right place putting people first. You brought the best out in him and he in you. The dude listens and connects. Best interview I've seen of JG. A+ PHNX kudos.
If🐦🏈 signs Lou Anarumo it's a home run. Lou loves a challenge. He signed on with the Bengals when they were worst in the league. With the Cardinals he rebuild it in his unique way, if they give him the autonomy.
Thank you JJ Watt for embracing the Cardinals and the community in every way imaginable. You are as inspirational a leader of men, both on and off the field, as any player who ever donned the uniform and buckled up the chinstrap. You belong in the 🐦🏈Ring of Honor.❤️💯
Koa’s first ever NFL game.
My last ever NFL home game.
My heart is filled with nothing but love and gratitude. It’s been an absolute honor and a pleasure.
🙏🏼
Andy Reid blames injuries to K Butker and CB McDuffie on State Farm turf. You know what? He is 100% correct. Cards have never been able to keep the field dry and with 🐦🏈team playing on it during camp, maybe that's why there are so many ankle, knee and calf injuries. Brutal.
It would be better for Patrick Peterson to play for a new team. He's gotten stale in Arizona. He needs a different GM, set of coaches, teammates in order to allow the energy of a new program be the impetus for him to regain his focus and mojo. A ticket to Canton may depend on it.
The pearl in this oyster of a clause (now removed) by Michael Bidwill is, Kyler Murray🐦🏈 showed precisely at his impromptu presser yesterday what a gritty competitor looks and sounds like. Has Kyler ever appeared at an NFL podium more resolute, confident and articulate?
Watching Brian Flores and Lou Anarumo get shunned has been two more letdowns in what has been the most agonizing 14 months of my🐦🏈 fandom. That said, I wish to give Monti Ossenfort, Jonathan Gannon and the 2023 team a fresh slate, a swift reset and all the hope in my heart.
If and when Kyler starts games- you have to want the team to win- you can't have it both ways. Kyler is not coming back to lose games and it would be an insult to him and the team to wish otherwise. There is only one way to play this grueling game, any other way is bogus. Go🐦🏈!
Some of us had other horses in this marathon. It's moot now. How about we bring the most positive energy we can to MO and JG. They are aligned. Let's align with them. We've all suffered enough. Imagine if 🐦🏈has the kind of off-season 🦅🏈had last year. One good day at a time.
It would be a total shock if the Cards cut Justin Pugh. He's loved by DJ, Kugs, Beach, and is coming off his best season in ARI. Gave up 1 sack last year. Give the guy the credit and respect that he deserves. He's part of the solution, not the problem.
If Cards can't get a deal done before FA, they absolutely have to place the f-tag on H. Reddick to be able to match other offers or get draft picks in return. Reddick is a 21st C 3 down LB who is dynamic in pass rush, quick to the ball in run support and sticky in coverage.
Best wishes to you, Kliff. Thanks for keeping the 🐦🏈 playing hard right to the end under what Ron Wolfley called the worst set of calamities in one season that he's ever seen. If you wind up being the Patriots' OC, I will drive over to Gillette to cheer you on.
Sources: The Arizona Cardinals fired head coach Kliff Kingsbury, who 10 months ago signed a contract extension through the 2027 season.
The Cardinals still never have had a head coach - any head coach - last longer than six years while the team has existed for over 100 years.
Ground control to 🐦🏈 Major James! Kudos to the coach who Drew up this master clinic in ball control offense and Kyler Murray's best game of the season coming off a "holiday bug" and 1 day of practice.
Happy for C. Kirk. But, the notion that Kirk didn't thrive as much as he could bc of Kyler Murray is absurd. How many times did Kyler thread the needle or lay it in the basket for Kirk into very tight windows? Kirk is not a quick-twitch separator or blazer (4.46). Needs ace QB.
To give 🐦🏈 new HC a fighter's chance, this time MB needs to let HC hire his own guys; let him open up all positions to competition; sync GM/HC on draft picks, FAs; give HC final say on 54 man roster/starters. If not, MB is not casting a net, he's setting another mouse trap.
So happy to see Chris Banjo back. Cardinals' safety unit is totally stacked with Budda, Jalen, Deionte, Charles, Chris and Shawn! Plus, one might imagine that Isaiah Simmons will, at times, play nickel FS and/or SS. Wow!🏈🐦
Cards pundits saying JJ Watt to replace Zach Allen as starter 34 DE. Allen in 7 starts had 35 tackles, 3 pass breakups, 2 sacks, w/ tackling grade of 79.9. Jordan Phillips in 9 starts had 11 tackles, 2 forc fumbls, 2 sacks w/ tackling grade of 33.5. Allen should start opp. Watt.
Josh Woods is a superb signing for 🐦🏈special teams. His 90.9 ST grade last year in DET (highest on team) was one of top ST grades in NFL, as was his 12 tackles and 2 assists. 14 combined tackles is outstanding.
Brian Flores and Lou Anarumo have called plays in AFC Championship Games and Super Bowls. They are the most qualified of 🐦🏈HC candidates, now that Frank Reich, Dan Quinn and Sean Payton have left the building. Does Michael Bidwill want a champion? Or a crony?
When Kyler is dialed in like when he plays at AT&T stadium, his spirited play transcends coaching. Kyler can fix Kyler in ways no coach can, that is, if he is motivated by humbleness and teamwork. Providing him with a strong OL and a top 10 defense is what's paramount.
If you want to look at a Kliff Kingsbury style of offense, watch the Eagles games this year. They are taking page after page out of K2's playbook -- classic Air Raid"mesh" passing plays, QB draws, cross-corner routes, delay screens, a gamut of RPOs. QB Jalen Hurts is crushing it.
Kudos to the 2021 🐦🏈brotherhood of ballers for becoming the only Cardinals team in the 101 year history of the franchise to go 7-0 in its first 7 road games plus winning all of the games by double digits.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Where did K1 first see a 🐦🏈teammate scrub socials? P2 hissy fitting to be paid during 6-game PED suspension. The epitome of P2 putting the team first? Diva culture in AZ perpetuated by Steve Keim. It has to stop. Keim out, ADub up.
PART 3: Patrick Peterson responds to Kyler Murray's response to his "Kyler Murray don't care about nobody but Kyler Murray" comments.
"I'm just saying something that most people may be afraid to tell him." Peterson denies 'beef' with Murray, has texted the QB.
@12SportsAZ
Dan Bickley brings a passion and sense of urgency that quite frankly too many Arizona teams lack. He has the guts to hold GMs and players to high standards. Plus, he's masterfully eloquent. He's a credit to his profession.
