I’m gonna be honest, I’m all my years playing xiv, doing content with people first has always been a priority to me. I don’t know where this notion suddenly came from that people who play this are all mega toxic or will flame you… I feel that’s just a twitter fear thing.
it always baffles me when people don't try a dungeon as a trust first? maybe it's just bc i'm super casual/have a lot of anxiety and worry over not knowing mechanics, but like? they're an option! besides, the npcs aren't gonna hop on twitter and tell everyone you suck.

See this seperates a good tank from a tank (warrior) who THINKS they're good and wastes everyones time.
As a tank you can literally prevent wipes, even DPS/Healer deaths if you notice your dps messing up. I've saved countless people thanks to bloodwhetting and shake being NUTTY
I leveled my warrior to 100 yesterday and I pinpointed what it is about "tanks soloing bosses" that makes me so angry, I think.
It's that they never use their tools to keep the party alive either. They just let everyone die and it extends the time it takes to do things.
