Cost of tests for immune risk stratification for kidney transplant should always be considered in the context of overall cost as well as good long term outcome of transplant which such stratification will provide by avoiding ABMR. One needs to work towards one transplant for the life of the patient . Adequate immune stratification at the outset could be one the many strategies for such desired outcomes

These two transplant recipients 35 years and 32 years post transplant on azathioprine and pred . Donors both mothers 88 & 83 yrs now , doing well . Both recipients were 25 and 22 yrs old then , got married and both r working fulltime and have two children each . It is so fulfilling to see tranplants transform lives
