CPS doc 'Speaking to Witnesses at Court' tells prosecutors to speak to ALL their witnesses before trial including victims. Been in force for almost 20 yrs, (revised in 2018). Some barristers do it, but mainly for 2 minutes, just before the victim testifies. So what's new here?

Rape victims are being put under excessive investigations, with masses of irrelevant info taken from them.
This delays trials, deters victims from reporting + prevents justice.

Cop misuses undercover identity to have a relationship with a woman unconnected to any police op. CPS don't ask for her statement, refuse to charge him, don't tell her she can review their refusal. Shocking abuse by the state? Serial cover up? Both?
