Thank you @ProfHine and @JanLindyJames for this brilliant evidenced-based independent balanced non-ideological report on #ParentalAlienation and alienating behaviours. It is great to see the truth being told - helping all those mums, dads and children in having their voice heard.
🔹 Children and adults affected show higher risks of PTSD, depression & suicidal thoughts. Parental alienation is a public health & child protection issue. Legal & Policy reforms are urgently needed. 📰 Read more: #ParentalAlienation #FamilyLaw

This is a vitally important reform which will support all victims of coercive control and domestic abuse including men and boys. We fully support it.
Domestic abusers convicted of controlling or coercive behaviour face tougher management. From today, the Probation Service, and other agencies like the police, will work together to manage the risks posed by these offenders, keeping people safer. More:

This is great news and anything that can keep people out of the family courts and deal with domestic abuse is good news. We are very supportive of #Pathfinder. It does support men and boys even though as normal they are erased from the narrative as normal.
Funding has been confirmed for a £12.5 million investment into new Pathfinder family courts in Wales and West Yorkshire. Data shows that Pathfinder courts resolve cases quicker, tackling backlogs and shielding children from further trauma. Read more 👉

We fully support @JoshBabarinde proposed new law to make domestic abuse an aggravating factor in sentencing.
“They’ve tried to say, we’re going to exclude domestic abusers from early release. The problem is they can’t do that because there isn’t a specific offence.” It’s “bonkers” that domestic violence isn’t recognised as a specific criminal offence, says @JoshBabarinde MP.
