2/ 7% of UK LGBT people state to have been offered or undergone conversion therapy. It is estimated that 700,000 people have undergone it in the United States alone.
The reality is that our own NHS also remains discriminatory to LGBTQ+ patients driven by ignorance and bigotry.

2/ We must recognise that students may find themselves forced to or wishing to be sex workers. There is still stigma and discrimination around the issue due to ignorance and bigotry. Students and everyone else must not be failed by a prejudiced system!

3/ In 2018, in the National UK LGBT survey, 16% reported poor experience in the NHS because of their sexual orientation and 38% because of their gender identity, whilst 80% reported difficulty accessing gender identity and gender transition services.
