We have local Public High Schools telling their players to play for the assistant coaches AAU Team. Parents of these young athletes saying they feel pressured to play so they get minutes next year. Interesting!!!

Parents and Coaches check on your student athletes. Some of these guys have dedicated their life to basketball and they have no offers or non that their peers see as significant. We live in a D1 or failed area, so the pressure on these young people have many of them depressed.

I think Northern VA deserved that Hayfield vs Patriot matchup. We all wanted it. In my opinion both teams earned it several times over. Unfortunately March Madness happened and we won’t get it. Now will the Cinderella team Battlefield win it all or will Hayfield finish the job.

Brandon Edozie - 6’5” - 2025 - PF is a name you should start getting familiar with. He was an impact player on his HS Varsity Team as a Freshman. He has been an instrumental piece for VA Playmakers 2025 UA Rise Team this spring as well. The kid can move anything in the post.

I’m gonna say it … some of you High School Coaches need to resign. You don’t really care to coach these kids and help these kids get to the next level. I’ve watched a kid that is just better in every aspect of the game sit and you play a baseball kid who can barely dribble. 🥴

The HS Transfer Portal will be hopping this week. Too many kids have been promised things by adults that had no intentions on keeping those promises. We tell these kids to stay in situations and fight through adversity but the premise of them coming to that school was a lie.

Lots of talented young athletes woke up as free agents with no team to go to. I had 3 parents reach out last night. I will have more reach out in the coming weeks. I don’t have room. I can only rock with the guys who showed up for my tryouts. I unfortunately can’t be your plan B

I woke up disappointed in the politics involved in sports. I tried to go to sleep and forget.Woke up disappointed. We tell these kids to do the right thing. We tell them to stay and work through adversity. Some of you coaches have poor character. I wish it was an Award for that.

Cameron is averaging 16ppg/4 ast/4 rebounds/2 steals this spring playing D1/D2 Competition on the UA Rise Circuit and Hoop Group Jam Fest Tournaments. He has had some dominant games scoring over 20 plus points. He is an exceptional defender as well.

Khaleel Abdullah is a true pg. He can play various styles; penetrate and kick, transition, half court, etc. Leel is known for his defensive prowess and his rebounding ability as a PG. He avg at least 2/3 charges a game. He plays all out and with tons of energy. He is a worker🦾
