We've been enjoying year 7 library lessons this half term with the introduction of a 'genre tasting' restaurant. Students move round tables sampling books from genres such as crime and mystery, comedy, real life issues, sci-fi and dystopia and filling in their 'tasting notes.

On Thursday 6th February, 46 Year 10 Fine Art and Photography
GCSE students visited the National Portrait Gallery with 6 members of staff.
The students spent the day drawing and taking photographs of work to inspire their own ideas linked to their current portraiture projects.

Yesterday 10 Fine Art GCSE students, including 6 Art Scholars went to Colfe's School. The students took part in a number of A Level style workshops in the fantastic studio spaces. They experimented with cyanotypes, stencils and spray ink, ink and bleach drawing and photograms!

Twenty four of the prefects went on a trip to the Migration Museum with Mr Smith. This is the first UK museum dedicated to migration and is currently temporarily based in Lewisham Shopping Centre as part of Lewisham’s selection as London Borough of Culture 2022.

This half term, students have been working hard to achieve Eco-conscious points. Across the school, more than 1000 points have been awarded to hard-working students since Nov 2021. That’s 1000 plastic bottles off the streets! A huge congratulations to all who have helped!
