I've had 3 hospital births.
You don't HAVE to have any of this.
-I was encouraged to birth in different positions
-Our out of pocket costs were on par with homebirth costs post insurance.
-My baby was put directly on my chest.
-We delayed cord clamping and cutting
Reasons why I don’t want to give birth in a hospital:
- cord gets cut immediately
- super bright artificial lighting
- a million 💉 within first few hours of life
- baby gets wrapped in blanket likely washed in chemicals
- you birth on your back laying down

I was talking to a Kindergarten teacher recently. She said that over half of her class can’t count to 10, and that they’re a year behind where they’re supposed to be on their reading compehension.
