One of our volunteers in the field near the Gaza border, (Shalom Avitan) was handed a baby whose parents are missing. Shalom's task now is to take care of this baby until the parents or family members can be found. Just one of the many heartbreaking stories.

Our team in Morocco left Marrakech earlier today and headed up to the mountain villages in the region of Tizi Ouaddou where rescue teams haven't reached yet. They found devastation but also a lot of resilient and strong people.

30 Muslim volunteers took it upon themselves to take over all ambulance shifts in Jerusalem for United Hatzalah over Yom Kippur. They treated upwards of 50 people over the course of the day.

Over the course of Yom Kippur, UH Muslim volunteers staffed all of our Jerusalem ambulances to let their Jewish cohorts focus on the holiday and prayer.

and Turkish Red Cross pulled a man from the rubble of a collapsed building in Kharmanmaras.
After nearly five days of being trapped, the man was still alive.

UH teams in Kahrmanmaras found a number of people still alive in a collapsed 9 story building. Our teams are working with the IDF homefront command S&R teams as well as local rescue crews to get them out.
Today our teams opened two medical clinics in remote villages in the Atlas Mountains in

The locations were selected in conjunction with local community leaders in villages that haven't yet received any medical care since the earthquake.

After a long day of travel and assisting refugees in Kishinev, Moldova, our team on the ground was pleasantly surprised when two refugee couples held their weddings nearby and invited them to attend as guests of honor.
Zahara and Mohammad live near Tizi Ouaddou. We met them yesterday and provided them with what help we could including creating a makeshift cover for the front of their house.
We were the first to reach them. Help us reach more people by donating.
This occurred around the same time as the terror attack in Jerusalem.
In Jerusalem a terrorist shouted allahu akbar and killed innocent Israeli civilians. In Turkey it was shouted in celebration of Israeli efforts to save the lives of innocent civilians.
Muslim Bedouin volunteers in Rahat, from UH together with other residents, have spent the last day packing ready-made Kosher food to supply to soldiers and first responders in the Gaza periphery.

In one week on the ground in Moldova
We’ve provided over 10,000 people with medical care and humanitarian aid coming over the border from Ukraine.
We’ve served over 4,000 hot meals to people temporarily sheltered in Chisinau.
We are outraged by the murder of our beloved volunteer EMT Darusha Awad. Darusha was a dedicated volunteer in our Nazareth Branch & was murdered by Hamas.
We are supporting the family at this most difficult time & praying that they will never know sorrow again.

Yup you heard correctly. We're sending off a PLANE full of medical equipment, humanitarian supplies, medicine, food, etc... for the refugees on the Ukrainian- Moldovan border.
We are also sending another 40 medical personnel.
And bringing back 150 Ukrainian refugees to Israel

Due to airspace closures, the team flew into Romania and will be making their way by land to Moldova and after a quick situation assessment to the border with Ukraine.

Our team arrived early Sunday morning and is working with local governments and community leaders to coordinate operations and be a force multiplier in rescue efforts.
Congratulations to the 17 new EMT graduates who completed their training course in Tel Aviv on Monday. Among the graduates are two survivors of the Hamas massacre that took place during the Nova music festival in Reim on Oct. 7th.

One of our volunteers stopped his car today in Sderot to help an injured person. He got out of his car and his act of kindness saved his life.

United Hatzalah bows its head in sorrow upon receiving the bitter news that our volunteer EMT Dolev Yehoud is no longer alive. On October 7th, Dolev left his family to provide medical assistance to the injured and was murdered by Hamas terrorists. May his memory be a blessing.

Congratulations to the 20 new volunteers who graduated their training course last night in Tiberias and will join the ranks of UH's 6,500 volunteers across the country.
Last week, in coordination with local authorities, our team headed to the village of Tigunarine where medical teams hadn't reached since the earthquake and treated several hundred people for a variety of injuries and ailments.

Darusha was at the music festival as an EMT providing medical coverage. He was declared missing for four days. His body was finally found and identified today.
He was an incredible person who helped everyone he could and never hesitated to save others, even in his death.
UH Muslim volunteers took over all ambulance shifts in Jerusalem this past weekend during the Pesach (Passover) holiday so that the Jewish volunteers could celebrate the holiday knowing that our high level of EMS response would continue.

Five Sifrei Torah were rescued from outlying towns in Ukraine where the Jewish communities fled. 3 Kosher, 2 Pasul.
Today our teams helped bring them to Chisinau from the border and the Kosher ones will be put to use this Shabbat by Ukrainian refugees in the city.
In light of recent events and in accordance with directives from security agencies, United Hatzalah of Israel has elevated its preparedness level to the highest degree as part of its readiness for any emergency scenario.
Our relief mission opened a field hospital this morning at the synagogue in Chisinau (Kishinev).
We also sent two smaller teams to the border areas of Palanca and Magilov to assist refugees there.

Today, we are bringing yet another 165 Ukrainian refugees to their new home in Israel on a specially arranged chartered flight from Chisinau, Moldova.
Moldovan airspace was closed due to the war. Two weeks ago, we opened it for humanitarian aid flights.

150 Ukrainian refugees began their journey to Israel today. They traveled first by bus to Romania and then by plane to Israel where they are expected to arrive in a few hours.

This Passover holiday, Meir Leiman (an ultra-Orthodox volunteer from West Jerusalem) and Itzhak Haddad (an Muslim volunteer from east Jerusalem) volunteered together transporting the elderly, both Jewish and Muslim, to be vaccinated in Jerusalem.
Today our teams were asked to go to the village of Larjam, where dozens of people, of all ages, have been waiting for medical care. We found people suffering from all sorts of injuries & illnesses some very serious. We treated over 60 patients and saved lives.
