@Polit_eurOpines The counies around Atlanta were not really on the hurricane path and swung towards Harris for other distinct reasons

@josh_metcalf I wish there was some data that would be able to make it possible to make a more deffinitive argument for that hypothesis but I do think in a world without Helene it would still be very easy to understand why the Asheville area swung left

Probably the most interesting county on this map is Moore, really the only county to have a bunch of left and right swinging precincts adjacent to each other that isn't just a result of racedep
Blue = swung left in all of 2016/2020/2024 Red = swung right in all of 2016/2020/2024 Not much red around and south of Asheville

@davidk368430332 @fanofbirch Gives credit to the idea that this is more a factor of internal migration and increasing dem strength in the area as opposed to a disaster response.

@skep_observer Lost the District by ~1.5% Robinson did 18% worse in the Guilford County portion (His home county) while Berger did only 1% better in Rockingham (His home county)

@ProgressDeath @josh_metcalf I mean the native population is much just those 2 precincts WNC Rest of the district is pretty overwhelmingly white
