Something to be said to have a coach that “failed” a lot as a player themselves. You find a lot of passion in those guys. They might not have gotten there, but my bet is they don’t want you to fail and will do everything in their power to help you.

Good story about Kenny, kid actually stopped playing after high school after having an unreal senior year. Started working but realized he was missing the game he loved, the amount of improvement this kid has had and how hard he has worked is unreal. So proud of this kid.

Since baseball has ended this season, I needed an outlet. Something to let out my frustrations and relieve some anger. The bar doesn’t lie. Regardless of lifting beliefs, there is something to be said for grinding it out in the squat rack. Not perfect! But 475 was fun☝🏻

I told him that if he invites me to his wedding in 15 years, I will have succeeded.
