I’m overjoyed to share that I’m starting my Ph.D in Neuroscience at @UWMadison this fall! 🧠 From surviving OCD, PTSD, cancer… to studying the very psychiatric conditions that once debilitated me - I’m BEYOND grateful! 🙏🏾 #NonTraditionalStudent #DisabledInSTEM #AcademicTwitter
2015: Straight up FAILED my 1st Neuro class (& everything else) & dropped out w/ a 1.83 GPA b/c I was SO sick… ‘20: Diagnoses + treatment 👉🏾 came back & ACED the SAME class, finished B.S. w/ 3.517 ‘23: Now graduating w/ my M.S. in Neuroscience w/ a 4.0 GPA 🧠 YOU CAN DO IT!👏🏾
