A full house for @KCS_EPP Cohort 4 holiday edition tonight!🎄@judy_siebert and I magically matched 😊 We had great table discussions abt final assessments over sweet snacks and EPP polos for everyone! We are also looking ahead to next semester after a well-deserved break ❄️

Last Friday @KCS_EPP coaching led me to Claiborne Co again where CTE teachers kept students engaged even through the pre-holiday season🎄Mr Blanton, Mr Graves & Ms Greene reviewed for EOCs & worked on hands-on projects. I also talked to 2 new candidates for next cohort! 😊

Today’s @KCS_EPP coaching visits went to TSD & Fulton HS-Ms Rednour was once a student at her own school, now teaching Digi Arts. MsTussey’s student made tuna tacos for his friends😋 Mr Stewart drove home concepts of distracted/drunk driving & Ms Anderson reviewed for the EOC 👏🏻

During today’s @KCS_EPP coaching visits at @HVA and Byington, Ms Juarez-Logan had students practice cupping & scraping in Rehab Careers, Mr Mandell’s Crim Justice students prepared for their 3rd mock trial, and Ms Andrews’ Health Science students had lots of questions abt ⬇️😃

At my @KCS_EPP coaching visits @JeffCoTNSchools today Mr Rymer had his Digital Arts students present about careers in the industry while Mr Purkey’s Manufacturing students learned to use a Digital Multimeter. 🙂@hayesa1CTE

Morristown East and West High Schools were on the plan for @KCS_EPP coaching visits: Ms Lamb in Cul Arts 🍝, Mr Hatfield in Engineering 📐 & Mr Clark in Construction 🪚. All kept eyes on their standards and had their students learn based on a project 👏🏻@HCDOE_Digital

Cumberland Gap and Claiborne Co HSs have solid CTE programs for their students! Ms Greene (Cosmo), Mr Blanton (Masonry) & Mr Graves (Crim Just) are newer instructors and in the @KCS_EPP where they learn the ‘trade’ of teaching 😊 @CCSDTN

For today’s @KCS_EPP coaching visits I went to Bearden HS to see Ms Johnston & Ms Pipkin in Health Science, Mr Suffridge in MLR, and Mr Hicks in Comp Science. ALL lessons were project-based and had students work in groups. That’s just how we roll in @CTE4KCS! 🤓 @bhsdawgs
