@TnActe is represented at the ACTE Leadership Fellows Reunion 🎉 This program goes all the way back to 2009 and has seen dozens of CTE (future) leaders come through. Deidre and I are thankful for what we learned and the connections it fosters! #VisionCTE2024

TDCTE and TN ACTE executive councils voted unanimously to provide $1,000 benevolence funds, earmarked for CTE, for the 8 school districts in the First CORE region impacted by hurricane Helene. CTE in Tn is a tight knit family - we stand together! #CTEstrong

Former TNACTE President Russell Watson passed away Oct 16. He taught Agriculture at Warren Co HS, inspiring students for 44 yrs, and was involved with the NAAE (Nat. Vice President), FFA & the Middle TN Iris Society. We thank him for his service to CTE!

New CTE teachers in East TN are spending part of their summer becoming better instructors of their respective fields. Their students will only benefit from this come Fall! 😊 Thank you, teachers, for remaining to be learners yourselves!
Already Day 4 of our June Intensive for Cohort 3! 🎉 Big topic today is how to embed numeracy in our CTE lessons. Candidates practice content by doing a jigsaw activity-and thus adding to their arsenal of engagement strategies for THEIR classrooms 😉
