I’ve played 44 of these (34 of the top 100). Currently scheduled to knock off 6 more in 2025, including We-Ko-Pa next month. Fun to think about on a cold Wisconsin night.

Honestly this type of thing was turning me off CFB even before college sports lost its way with NIL and constant transferring.
Every time one of the have-nots in CFB grab one tiny morsel of the sports biggest spoils, the establishment loses its shit and insists they're unworthy and must be beaten back down to serf status so the lords can continue gorging at the feast of plenty. It's exhausting.

@Top100Rick Played there a few years ago. Scotty Cameron was in the group behind us. Always enjoy SoCal and Carlsbad in particular, but I definitely prefer nearby Omni LaCosta.

@wiscogolfaddict My humble opinion: Maple Bluff Bishops Bay Gap U Ridge Hawks BIG GAP Nakoma Bergamont Haven’t played TPC yet (they wanted $258 as a guest fee). Blackhawk should be retired and put out of its misery.

I don’t like lists but they’re good for spurring fun discussion. Played 36 of these and am going to Streamsong, Omni Homestead and Greenbrier in 2025. I enjoy Lawsonia but it’s too high. American Dunes? Haven’t played it but I’m … skeptical.

Wish it could be a bit longer and that they could remove some trees. Will be interesting to see what Jay Blasi does in the upcoming renovation.

Played 23 of these. Of the rest, only 4 are public (Bethpage, Shadow Cr, Streamsong Red & Gamble). I don’t always believe in blind adherence to lists, and this one is no different, but they do serve the purpose of teeing up fun conversations and dreaming of golf trips to come. 🏌️
The new Golf Magazine USA Top 100 is out! Some VERY interesting tidbits: The Lido debuting at #30 will certainly be the biggest story. Old Barnwell is an amazing debut at #51. What an achievement for Schneider and Conant. (Hot take: I found it more stimulating than Lido.) Sheep Ranch, Pinehurst 4, and others fell off the list. My beloved Prairie Dunes is up to #16. Proud of the work the team has done to keep up with the ever competitive elite golf scene. Pinehurst #10 is an interesting high debut. I’ve heard mostly very average reviews so far. Anyone played it? Old Elm finally made it! Fazio, Nicklaus, Dye continue to fall out of favor of raters. Wonderful graphic by: @ukgolfguy Go follow him!

Had a family wedding in SD & was lucky to find time to get to Torrey Pines. IMO the North Course doesn’t give up much to its more heralded sibling to the south. Holes 14-16 are obviously the highlight & conditions were excellent. Didn’t love the 5 hour round but enjoyed overall.
