The “Air Pirates” 1st Battalion, 211th Aviation Regiment successfully brought the first four of 24 aircraft home today. The pilots are glad to be home after a 5-day cross county flight.

PUBLIC NOTICE - Conrolled Burn planned Oct. 8th 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. Controlled Burn Mitigation will take place at Camp Williams, Utah – Today Smoke may be visible from nearby areas, but there is no cause for alarm. Local authorities are aware and monitoring the situation.

A team from the Army Combat Readiness Center (CRC) is scheduled to arrive tomorrow to begin investigating this AH-64D incident. These investigations can take up to 90 days to complete.

Utah National Guard confirms that one of its AH-64D Apache Longbow Helicopters was involved in a training accident at approximately 1:20 p.m. The helicopter accident occurred at the West Jordan Army Aviation Support Facility. Fire and police departments are on scene.
