Part of me just wants to leak the actual phones before launch, but I don’t wanna get sued into oblivion lol.
Really sad because it would be one of the coolest things ever ngl.
The base model iPhone 16 will have a vertical camera layout, as opposed to diagonal on iPhone 15. This will make the device instantly recognizable as the latest model.
Currently, an iPhone 12-style design is in testing, though there is another design as well, same layout.
If you plan on getting a new iPhone - I’d suggest avoiding the base model 15, it’s immensely derivative. Effectively an iPhone 14 with a USB-C port.
The iPhone 15 Pro feels like it relies too much on gimmicks like the titanium alloy, rather than offering anything of note.
There will be no iPhone 16 leaks, even though it would be just as easy as it was for the iPhone 15.
I’ve learned something - people will never appreciate you, no matter what you do.
Some last minute hardware info on the headset:
⁃Button on the left, digital crown on the right,
⁃Two displays, µOLED
⁃1 TrueDepth camera, likely for FaceID
⁃IPD, semi-automatic adjustment
⁃4 CV Cameras
⁃2 RGB Cameras
⁃2 Low Light InfraRed illuminators
Update:
It appears that both 8GB and 6GB RAM configurations for A17 were in testing at one point, currently unclear why or which of these was chosen as final - could be dependent on storage.
They’re labeled as follows:
POP, COLL + 6G
POP, COLL + 8G
These are the colors that were tested on the base model iPhone 15, throughout different development stages:
- Pink / Rose Gold / Blush Gold
- Green
- Blue
- Yellow
- Orange (inconsistent mentions)
- Black / Midnight / Dark / Basalt
We should see at least some of these
Fun fact:
Both the 15 Pro and the 15 Pro Max use the same Sony IMX-803 image sensor for the main camera - something also found in the 14 Pro.
Truly the height of innovation.
Obligatory Apple Event tweet:
I might as well point out the obvious here, the colors used for this - they match up with the 15 Pro colors. Not exactly subtle if you ask me, lol.
Very interesting discovery by
@KosutamiSan
, they’ve posted what appears to be a purple iPhone 7 housing, with a slightly different design - note the position of the flash and the speaker holes on the top side.
The SE 4 seems like it’s gonna be a pretty decent upgrade. They’re finally ditching the iPhone 8 style frame (good riddance 🙄)
Pretty good selection of features too 👌
After the 15 series is announced, you can expect a ton of shills to overhype it like it’s the most revolutionary thing in the world.
I’m telling you straight up - they’re just mediocre, not worth it. 2024 lineup is where it’s at 👌
Just one detail - while we do know for a fact that this color exists, it’s always possible that it’s a test configuration, something to test the durability of the PVD coating on the new titanium material. I can’t guarantee they’ll actually end up using it.
To put things into perspective - the phone on the right was a Proto2 iPhone 15 Pro.
The recently released iPhone 16 Pro designs are from the Proto2 development stage.
Here’s an updated version of the visuals used for iPhone 15 Pro blue color reveal - a collaboration between
@MacRumors
and myself.
@graphicalryan
created the original images, and did a great job replicating the brushed finish with this new version!
- Exact dimensions and weights of the entire 16 range (not just the screens)
- The info is freely available to all, with all of the decimals included. No strings attached.
More Periscope details:
After a bit of research, I’ve discovered that the periscope design used in the iPhone 15 Pro Max (and D93 / D94) very closely resembles a design found in an Apple patent application.
(This image has been mirrored and rotated to match the 15PM layout.)
If you’re surprised that I’m mean sometimes - remember I released an image of an actual 15 Pro, just to make a complete mockery out of something else lol.
Apple is working on two Pro models
for the iPhone 16 series, with increased display panel sizes (the actual display area is a bit smaller):
D93 - 6.3”
D94 - 6.9”
Both models are set to feature the new periscope lens, unlike the 15 lineup where it’s restricted to the Pro Max.
iPhone 15 series display glass seems to have leaked in China. The alleged story behind this - these were bought by someone who makes screen protectors.
Note - this does not come from my sources, tho it does seem to align with the 15 series images (smaller bezels on the pro)
If you’re thinking of being a leaker, don’t. Here’s why:
- You will gain nothing, literally.
- People will demand things from you.
- You’re helping other people make money, for no reason.
- Having a lot of likes, followers, etc. - it doesn’t matter, it makes no difference.
I can’t release anything about the headset - but I can still comment on the designs I’ve seen 🤷♂️
- The thing is quite round, curved, both the frame and the front glass, reminiscent of AirPods Max.
If you feel pressured to buy a 15 because of all the people on Twitter or YouTube or whatever - don’t give in.
It’s not worth it. You don’t need to upgrade your phone every year.
And if you’ve saved up to get a new phone, I’d suggest waiting a year.
Even though the haptic buttons are not happening on the 15 Pro, these renders are still an interesting look at what could have been, were it not for the abrupt cancellation.
Guess I need to dumb this down a bit Some ppl think my followers are too stupid to understand basic specs.

Thoughts on iPad Pro:
- 12.9” screen is great
- ProMotion is noticeable, but overrated
- Good as a media consumption device, but not a laptop alternative
- M1 and M2 are overkill for just iPadOS, these iPad Pros aren’t worth the money - better to get a MacBook instead.
On a related note - the camera arrangement has changed, compared to the 14 Pro / Pro Max.
The Ultra Wide and Telephoto cameras have swapped positions - so the camera between the flash and LiDAR sensor is the one with periscope lens on the 15 Pro Max (regular telephoto on 15 Pro)
Also for those who’re hyped up about this:
Titanium Gray is literally the most mid iPhone color ever. It’s gray, that’s about it.
Blue on the other hand looks very nice, really reminiscent of Pacific Blue 👌
Update
Based on what was reported to me by a native Chinese speaker today regarding the original text I sent about the rumor of the iPhone 16 Ultra, there could be an error of interpretation on my part and on the part of other translators. The original source reported that the 16
Call me a killjoy but I’m not impressed with the new iPads. Not a particularly compelling upgrade.
Pricing is also atrocious - you could literally get a decent MacBook or an iMac for the same amount of money…
After consulting with my sources, we’ve decided to reveal an interesting design change for the base model iPhone 16. 👀
We’ve decided to go with this, as it’s more interesting than the 16 Pro display dimensions. We’re talking actual design change vs. decimal points.
Unconfirmed:
Accessory manufacturers have allegedly been told that blue is one of the colors for the iPhone 15 Pro.
If you’re in the industry or know someone who is - feel free to let me know if this is true.
Some details about USB-C on the iPhone 15:
It was in testing as far back as January 2022, and pretty much all designs since March 2022 have had the USB-C port instead of lightning.
There was a version with a lightning port very early on, but it was quickly scrapped.
Guess we can get this out of the way, seeing as it’s a pretty minor thing:
The rumor about the base model iPhone 15 getting the frosted back glass is true.
I got into leaks cuz I was tired of seeing the same people leak stuff every year, all while acting like they’re above everyone - completely ignoring regular people
It was meant to be a “fuck you” to the status quo.
That’s why I try to answer all DMs. I’m just a regular guy 🤷♂️
This is true for both the standard 15 as well as the 15 Pro - the proximity sensor is part of the Singe Pearl Module, codename Sphinx.
Didn’t think anyone would care about this info so I never bothered releasing it.
An interesting tidbit about the A16 - looks like the whole “4nm” thing was apparently a marketing gimmick, I’ve seen it labeled as a 5nm chip internally.
This does not Apply to the A17, that one is undoubtedly 3nm, so it should be a more significant upgrade.

This is one of the most random claims I’ve ever seen about the iPhone 15.
No, Touch ID is not going to be on the 15 lineup - there’s absolutely nothing to suggest its return.
This was the funniest iPhone launch in years. SO MANY LEAKS TURNED OUT FALSE.
iSheeps were already using leaks as if they were a guarantee
Thunderbolt 4 🤣
4,800 battery
6x periscope
The bezels don't look as impressive as the claims.
ICE UNIVERSE IS A FRAUD!
Will probably do a closeup of a corner - showcasing the slight curve of the 15 Pro display, the bezel width, and case difference, with an iPhone 14 Pro for comparison.
The entire 15 lineup is worth skipping - base models especially. Not because of any defects, it’s too mediocre of an upgrade.
I wish I could elaborate, but I can’t… 👀
