Don't forget to add, about 75% of this from the Middle East. More specifically, the low prized "Kadamas". It's high time we reorganised the labour export industry and harness much better results as we work on the coffee to get there.
Ugandans working abroad sent home $1.1 billion (Shs4.2 trillion) in the twelve months to July 2022, according to data from Bank of Uganda Coffee, our prized cash cow –– employing 11m farmers –– brought in about 1.4trillion. How many folks are abroad?
