I never did a big coming out post. Mainly because I’m a costume designer who loves musical theatre- so most people who have and even have not met me already just assumed I was gay. 🏳️🌈🧵1/11
This Princess display for the Fantasy Springs Grand Chateau was such a wonderful opportunity to create so many ornate, custom, story based details for guests to encounter up close.
So excited to finally be sharing with the world the cast costumes I designed for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, the new lands opening at Disneyland and Walt Disney World! Cast costumes are worn by employees working in our stores, restaurants, attractions, and a variety of other roles.
Really excited to see the cast in their new Fantasy Springs costumes at Tokyo DisneySea in these promotional photos. Years of working on all of these shapes, colors, textiles, and details to help the cast be immersed in the stories of this new port.

So excited for guests to get a chance to see Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge and the cast costumes I had the incredible honor of designing. Design is in the details- my team did an amazing job of adding textures, prints, and distressing on nearly every square inch!
I am obsessed with this Jennifer Coolidge photo shoot for W Magazine directed by Daniels (Everything Everywhere All at Once) with costume designer Shirley Kurata. Luxury fashion meets tokusatsu, campy Japanese cinema, is everything I want in life.
So proud of the new costumes for the Disney Resort Line at Tokyo Disney Resort, including vest, jacket, and short sleeve shirt options. This design combines the formality of historic train uniforms with bold graphics and colors inspired by the monorails themselves.
The busser cast aprons for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge have printed details to mimic the look of feed sack style bags sewn together, with graphics that represent vegetables, wheat, and rations. Also featured is a detailed shot of one of my favorite sleeves in the entire collection!
A closer look at some of our Food & Beverage cast costumes for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge! Here we see our mix & match tops and bottoms paired with dedicated overlays, ft. the otherworldly textured wrap tunics worn at Oga’s Cantina, as well as our busser aprons worn in the lands.
Just a few detail shots of some of the costumes designed for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. The textiles and textured construction details are my favorite part!
Today I’m excited to share that I am moving from Glendale to Disneyland to be part of an absolute dream team focused on costume design and development for Disneyland, Aulani, and our Asia parks.
Same job, new location, new team, streamlined focus.
Could not be more excited!
One of my favorite, beautifully moving, almost ethereal editorials. Dancing Flower People for Italian Vogue, flowers by Rhea Thierstein and photographed by Tim Walker.

The last group of Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge cast costumes is for Smuggler’s Run, utilizing our mix and match base paired with a dedicated vest & hat. Done in a 1970s era blue, this safety vest and ear protection inspired hat are perfect for an active runway!
Some of my favorite details from the new Fantasy Springs cast costumes at Tokyo DisneySea.
You can see them up close in the new exhibit Fantasy Springs - A New Chapter Begins at Ikspiari.

We have the world’s best fans! The Tokyo Disneyland expansion just opened yesterday (soft opening last week) and the guests have already spotted the hidden 1928 in the Minnie’s Style Studio operational costumes! 🤩🙌🏼
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge cast costumes for Rise Of The Resistance feature Resistance and First Order uniforms with loads of iconic details that guests will recognize from the films including communicator inspired buttons, hats, goggles, and code cylinders!
In reference to the comments I’ve been reading everywhere about the “poor fit” of Meghan Markel’s wedding gown, I’ll just leave this right here:
“Your dresses should be tight enough to show you're a woman and loose enough to show you're a lady.” -Edith Head

How incredible are these new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker images?! Michael Kaplan’s costume designs are (as always) so dynamic and varied! I’m most excited about Kerri Russell’s masked Zorii! Such an overwhelmingly spectacular design for such a brilliant actress!
I am so proud to be part of Disney Parks and Resorts and to work for leaders and with colleagues committed to telling stories for people of every culture and background.
And as a guest, my experience is never diminished because someone else’s humanity is dignified.
Sad to hear about the passing of legendary costume designer Yvonne Blake, most famous for the iconic Superman costume.
We honor her legacy with a look back at the history of the Superman costume and her major stamp on pop culture!
Blown away by Meghan Markle’s gorgeous gown, designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy! Love the simple sophistication of the gown with the drama of the five meter veil featuring embroidered flowers representing the 53 countries of the Commonwealth.

Happy Opening Day to Avengers Campus!
It was an incredible privilege to collaborate with such talented and thoughtful artists! As a huge Marvel fan, it was wildly exciting to get to design both the entertainment and operational costumes for this new land.
