I’m Japanese. I was born in the US. My grandmother brought my mother here when she was 3. My grandmother did not want my mom or me to speak Japanese because she wanted Americans to respect us for learning their culture. My mom has a southern accent. 😂

That’s awesome! I was at Safeway a few weeks ago and the man in front of me started to put his groceries back because he didn’t have enough money. He bought a bag of dogfood. I felt bad and handed him a $20 so they could BOTH eat. It’s all I had.

We lived in a neighborhood with $700-800,000 homes (No HOA). It was immaculate. We were planning on selling & woman across the street going through a divorce let her yard go so bad. We paid to have it cleaned up. Still cheaper than paying fees for 10 years.

Sure do. My husband paid a couple of teens to clean up any yards that needed it. During a big snow, a teen and his dad came through and snowplowed all of our roads driveways. We help each other.

My Japanese mother and grandmother lived in Alabama for years. Only problems they had were with blacks. My grandmother told me to stay away from them. I learned she was right when we moved to WA state & they were racist as hell in school.

I live in a town of 1800 people. I left Seattle and moved here on purpose. No minorities. I love it here and I’m Japanese. I’m the only one. It’s perfect and I’ve never been happier or safer.

😂 I’m one of the few in WA that moved from western WA to a quiet, safe town and I live off a primitive road where we all feel safe. I’m not crazy enough to tell ANYONE the exact location. It’s not very diverse. I’m the only Asian lol

When I left my abusive husband, I put my daughter on WIC for 6 months till I got on my own feet. I appreciated it but I felt guilty for using the system so I stopped ASAP. Some people use it for YEARS!

Wow. That’s horrible. My father in law had cancer and we weren’t allowed to see him unless we got the shot. We thought he was about to die and my husband and I got the J&J so we could spend time with him. I regret it completely.
