i've lived long enough to see Subway outlive its purpose. five dollar footlongs are like $15 now. you're not going to sell me on giant cookies, pizzas, soups, salad bowls. i'm here for one thing and it's the cheap sub i got in 2008. if you don't have it, then what's the point?

Pretending to be someone else, i.e. "Roleplaying," has been largely colonized by a particular mindset for some time. I think there's some intriguing implications for why this has come to pass.

@MikeSMillerArt I remember them floating Mads Mikkelsen. Would've been a home run, but they also would've needed to draw more inspiration from classic comics instead of them doing 1:1 adaptations of the Ultimate Comics version of Fantastic Four.
