This year is the first time in my life I’ve been ashamed to be a Niners fan. You can say Twitter isn’t a real place, but it is very obvious the narratives that get thrown around this app permeate in the locker room. It’s pathetic, gross and a distraction. Luka Mikatovic is a 15 year old boy who hasn’t finished going through puberty who destroyed the female world record by 5 seconds. If you cannot see where your argument isn’t valid there is no point to engage with you. Katie Ledecky’s records are not close to being touched by other female swimmers yet are easily broken by teenage boys.

Katie Ledecky is considered the greatest female swimmer of all time. She is 6 feet tall. Her world record for the 1500m free in the long course (Olympic size pool) is 15:20.48. Last year 15 year old male swimmer Luka Mijatovic swam the 1500 m free at the Junior Pan PAC Championship in 15:15.95. Please don’t try to tell me that men do not have an inherent physical advantage over women

This is Lia Thomas with the 3 women he beat in 2022. Thomas is at least 6 inches taller, has a larger wing span, more muscle, and a larger lung capacity than these women. The three women in this picture were all members of the United States Swim Team who competed at the Tokyo Olympics 6 months before this picture. Thomas a mediocre male swimmer beat 3 female olympians
