It was an ok dunk once I understood it, I’d just cut out the ‘really’ and maybe repeat “Numbers” rather than using a pronoun because “they” was unclear in this context IMO. Just giving constructive criticism

Numbers don’t “really” have race? That “really” implies numbers do have a race to a debatable degree, making the sentence less clear
