The replies in this post are dire. The ignorance -- coupled with absolute righteous certainty -- about how research is conducted is profound. Good luck America, you'll need it.
I am an NIH-funded researcher and this absolutely will not help me. In fact, it will make it much more difficult for me to do research bc I will have to take on the administrative work that staff currently do. If you want to support researchers, you should oppose this change.
