Lara, our new groundbreaking #translation #AI, has been made possible thanks to our long-lasting collaboration with @NVIDIA and their powerful AI platform, NVIDIA DGX™ Cloud. Lara has been trained on a unique dataset of 25 million real-world translations by top professional translators. It includes machine-generated translations reviewed and refined by two professional translators, capturing errors, corrective feedback, and reasoning during disagreements. This knowledge helps Lara gather insights, weigh options, and refine translations, ensuring reliable results. By working closely with NVIDIA, we've trained the largest translation model ever created, with tens of billions of parameters, ten times larger than our previous model. Thanks to a long-standing collaboration with NVIDIA, we've always been able to use the most advanced GPUs, starting from NVIDIA A100 GPUs using InfiniBand networking technology, and now leveraging NVIDIA H200 Tensor Core GPUs for Lara inference. Thanks to this collaboration, we've been able to reduce the error rate in translation from about 10 to 2.4 errors per thousand words, an amazing milestone that establishes Lara as the most accurate translation AI. We're now targeting 1 EPT, which is the standard error rate of the best professional translators. Based on the experience of our clients, with the latest AI advancements, we estimate a growth in demand for both machine translation (100x) and human translation (10x).
