@Jahnji @calelectricrail State-level. Assemblymembers and State Senators. The Board that runs the Capitol Corridor isn't directly elected, but it's members are elected officials. So their constituents speaking out has great effect too.

If you live in the Capitol Corridor region and want to help put time into fighting for electrify the corridor, let us know! We're looking for more volunteers & will help train & equip you so you can be a more effective transit advocate!
Capitol Corridor is evaluating use of hydrogen on the corridor due to state intervention, overruling the 2016 vision plan which called for electrification, 15 minute peak service, and 150 mph speeds (which hydrogen is not suited for). Riders deserve better!

We can aim higher to EXPAND transit service too. Our clogged freeways are a sign that we need to drastically expand & improve transit service throughout the whole Bay Area. Call your commissioners and demand they go further
We’re now working toward a 2026 regional ballot measure to shore up & improve Bay Area transit systems. The emergency state funds delayed service cuts. We now need to work regionally to ensure these systems’ long-term viability. For the Bay Area to succeed, transit must succeed.

Want better transit in the Bay Area and want to prevent service cuts? Call your MTC Commissioner TODAY and ask that they step up support for transit funding
All eyes will be on Monday’s meeting of the MTC’s Transportation Revenue Measure Select Committee. If some counties are against a sales tax and other counties are against a parcel tax and business is against a payroll tax, then what can be supported?
